Bringing Panorama Portarlington to life: The construction process

Panorama Portarlington is gearing up to begin construction as soon as possible, however before construction can commence, there are a few key events we need to check off first.

As you can imagine, a project like Panorama requires a considerable amount of planning and organisation. It’s important for us to take our time during the planning stage to ensure that we build our community to the highest standard. Investing time in planning will also help to avoid any roadblocks that could potentially emerge in future, which will allow Panorama to be constructed as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

Here are some upcoming key dates relating to the construction of our first two stages:

Planning Permit

A planning permit is a legal document that allows a particular parcel of land to be developed or used in a certain way. Local councils are responsible for reviewing planning permits and ensuring they are in accordance with State Government objectives. Planning permits can be required for a number of reasons, including starting a new use of land and subdividing land.

Recently, we submitted what we expect will be our final request for information on our planning permit to council. If all goes according to plan, we are optimistic that council will approve our planning permit by the end of March 2022.

Construction

As soon as our planning permit is approved, we can move forward with seeking approval for the construction of Stage One (The Grove) and Stage Two (Aspect Rise). Once we have these approvals in place, we can begin construction on these two stages. We anticipate that construction will commence in September 2022.

Located at the southwest corner of Panorama Portarlington, The Grove will provide a selection of 31 lots ranging from 350m2 to 775m2. Aspect Rise is positioned directly to the east of The Grove and will offer 42 lots ranging from 420m2 to 768m2. To view our masterplan, click the button below.

Timeline

Stages the size of The Grove and Aspect Rise usually take around seven months to construct. It is anticipated that construction on Stage 1 will commence in Q4 2022 and be completed in Q3 2023, while construction on Stage 2 will commence in Q1 2023 and be completed in Q4 2023.

Once these stages are constructed, our purchasers will be able to settle their land and begin building their new home.

This is just the beginning of Panorama Portarlington, and we can’t wait to continue bringing this incredible coastal community to life over the coming months. Thank you for joining us on this exciting journey, we look forward to delivering more updates in the near future.
