Spring has sprung on the Bellarine, and there are plenty of activities and events to get involved in as we experience longer days, warmer nights and more sunshine. Here’s what you might like to get involved in this Spring on the Bellarine:
If you’re passionate about marine life, and want to share this passion with your children, then FISH Club (Ferry to Inspire Sustainability Heroes) is a must-attend event for you and your family. This interactive experience will allow your child to learn about marine creatures, caring for the environment and an introduction to responsible fishing.
The teams at Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre and Caring for our Bays – Bellarine Catchment Network has partnered with Port Phillip Ferries to deliver a full-day itinerary of fishing fun. Ferries depart from both Portarlington and Docklands.

North Bellarine Farmer’s Market
The North Bellarine Farmer’s Market is an initiative to showcase the fantastic produce of the Bellarine and surrounding regions. It’s the only dedicated produce-only farmers market on the Peninsula, and takes place on the second Saturday of the month from 9am – 1pm.
Featuring growers, farmers, bakers, brewers and lots of other local food producers, the market is set in the idyllic surrounds of the Bellarine Estate vineyard.
